As of November 2017 , 32% of Turkey’s university graduates are currently unemployed (compared to the overall youth 15-24 unemployment rate of 19%).They are more likely to remain unemployed for 6 months or longer (43%) compared to primary and high school graduates (15 % and 23% respectively). If they graduate from one of the many ‘second tier’ state universities, they are even less likely to be employed.
